We are, who we are

8a346ac6dd8d57f09030c94d47d1390d.jpg

But how
Can two people
That is so alike
Be so different?

How
can we see
Exactly the same thing
But experience it
So differently?

Why
Does what I say
Mean something
totally different to you
Than what I meant
When I said it?

NB. This is a translation of the previous post. I personally think that the Norwegian version of the poem is better.

Hi.
It's my sweet little sister :)
But this picture is many styles ago.
Now she has blue short hair :)

Hello Yvonne,

I like your poem,

Although the picture looked like you I didn't think it was you, so it makes sense that it was your sister.

Is the poem about you and your sister because you are alike but so different, in that you seem to be far more convential than she is?

No, but I can see how you could think that :)
I got the inspiration for this poem after hearing a conversation between two people i know.
